Yesterday I posted a photo of what my desk looks like after doing some organizing and it got me wondering what other mobile tech bloggers had on their desks. I emailed a few bloggers and some of them emailed or posted pics of their desks and gear. 
Here are some pics of two MacBook Nano netbooks, which started life as a pair of MSI Winds. An Apple fanboy and his son applied a couple of stickers, stamped "MacBook Nano" on the bezel and installed OSX Leopard to complete the transformation. 
Sam's Club will sell the Acer Aspire One for $349 on Black Friday and throw in a free leather case that isn't available from other retailers. The Black Friday Acer Aspire One configuration includes an 8.9-inch display, 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor, 1GB of RAM and 120GB hard drive. I went to my new doctor's office for the first time on Friday, but instead of worrying too much about my health I ended up interviewing him about how he uses a Tablet PC all day long to better serve his patients. I've had my share of 'bad Apples,' but none was nearly as bad as the MacBook Pro I bought four months ago. As I wrote back in March, Apple products have something against me- maybe because they have to share my attention and desk-space with numerous PC notebooks. That's why I wasn't completely surprised when my MacBook Pro's display did a great Zebra impersonation today. I was completely surprised by the treatment I got at the Apple Store and had one of the best customer service experiences I've had in a long time. 
Ann Finnie from HP sent over a new promo video for the HP Mini 1000. I really like these brief ads that Adcetera ( a Houston, TX ad agency) puts together for HP. They are always very concise and communicate a few benefits of HP's products in layman's terms. 
HP's built an interface called Mobile Internet Experience (MIE) for the Mini 1000. MIE is designed to make it easy for people to do the most common Internet-related tasks on the Mini 1000 and make it possible for them to use Linux without having to actually learn a thing about Linux.
