MSI has just announced that the slim and sleek-looking MSI X370 notebook is now shipping in the U.S. with a price of just $599. The X370 is just over 3 pounds and has a 13.4″ display. The notebook gets it’s power from an AMD Fusion E350 processor and AMD Radeon graphics. MSI is hoping that the X370 can compete with the much pricier MacBook Air and Samsung 9 Series notebooks.
The MSI X370 uses the new AMD Fusion E350 processor which is a dual core 1.6GHz APU with a built-in AMD Radeon HD 6130 GPU. Additionally, the notebook has 4GB RAM and a 500GB 7200RPM hard drive. The battery 8-cell battery is rated for up to 10 hours. The display is 13.4″ with a 1366 x 768 resolution.
We’ve recently tested a similarly configured AMD Fusion E-350 powered notebook and are very impressed with the battery life and power provided by the AMD Fusion APU. The MSI X370 certainly has the specs to deliver more than enough performance for mobile users, used to a semi powerful large notebook or a desktop.
The MSI X370 is available for purchase today from Newegg and [amazon_link id=”B004V3PLII” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Amazon[/amazon_link] for a starting price of $599.
