HP's 20.1-inch Pavilion HDX entertainment notebook is finally available. The Pavilion HDX, also known as "The Dragon," features dual hard drives, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600 XT GPU, up to 4GB of memory and the latest Intel Core 2 Duo processors. This 15.5-pound semi-portable notebook starts at $2,999, but extra goodies like a HD DVD drive and Intel's Core 2 Duo Extreme processor can push the price tag to the $5,000 range.
HP's new business tablet is now shipping. The all-new 2710p has a slick aluminum case, a look that the rest of the Compaq business notebooks may adopt in the future. An auxilliary battery and DVD burner can be stacked to this slim tablet.
HP Japan is minting 1,000 special edition dv6500 notebooks that feature a white lid. Not sure how 'limited' or 'special' these white HP dv6500 series notebooks are, with similar looking ones showing up everywhere from HP's home shopping catalog to Best Buy. Other than the white snow pattern, these notebooks are identical to the standard dv6500's and can be configured with the latest IntelCore 2 Duo processors.
HP's introducing two cheap notebooks, the HP 530 GH645AT for consumers and the HP 530 GH640AT for home business users. These notebooks will be available at office stores and brick and mortar retailers everywhere.

HP announced the Compaq 2710p notebook, a convertible tablet that can be configured with up to three batteries. The optional expansion base features a DVD-RW drive and various ports.. A second battery can be sandwiched between the base of the tablet and the expansion base, for all-day computing.
HP announced two new business notebooks today at a presentation called The Art of Small Business. The Compaq 6715B and 6515B are the first HP Business notebooks since the launch of Microsoft's Vista. The new line of business notebooks are exclusively widescreen.
