ASUS showed off the Eee PC 901, 1000 and 1000 (H) models today at Computex 2008 in Taipei. The new Eee PCs are more robust and expensive than earlier versions. The low-cost ultraportable market is really heating up and ASUS isn't standing still. 
These are the first pics of the Acer Aspire One, a low-priced mini notebook that'll compete with the Eee PC, HP Mini-note 2133 and Dell's Mini. Competition in this market is really heating up and it'll be very interesting to see if the average consumer starts picking these things up in serious numbers. 
I didn't realize Best Buy was struggling so badly that it had to resort to this "tribute" to Heath Ledger just a few hours after his death. Someone that works at the Missin Valley San Diego Best Buy threw a few DVDs on a table and erected a sign in the same format of a tombstone (name, dates of birth/death and a couple of lines about how the person's going to be remembered) before many even knew he had passed away.

The MacBook Air's stirred up some interesting discussion about what's expected of an ultraportable notebook. Lenovo's answer is the ThinkPad X300 series, which features a 64GB solid state drive, three USB ports, a DVD burner. Not bad for a 2.5 pound package.

I just snapped some pics of the the LapDome at MacWorld. The LapDome is basically a tent for your laptop so you can use it as your 'outdoor office.' I think they jacked the mini-display tents from REI and relabeled them as 'laptop' shades, but whatever... 
Rhino Skin introduced a new anodized aluminum case for MacBoks at MacWorld. The case is like a laptop sleeve on steroids. It's super tough, but there's zero room for accessories. 
Andreas Haas, the CEO of Axiotron and inventor of the ModBook, showed Notebooks.com the latest version of the Modbook, which has a mirror finish and a new application called Axiotron Quick Clicks, which makes it easier to enter commonly used key combos.

Here's some serious one-of-a-kind bling for your iPhone. These iPhone cases are made out of gold carbon fiber leather. The Case-Mate CEO was trying to explain the process of how the gold is woven into the carbon, which is some how bonded with the leather, but I was too mesmerized by the sparkling diamonds to pay too much attention.
