NuShield DayVue Anti-Glare Screen Protector Video Review:
The model we were sent is cut to fit the 2010 MacBook Air, and it fit well without degrading our viewing experience while indoors. When we used the screen protector outdoors, we didn’t find it to be a direct replacement for an anti-glare screen like that found on the Lenovo ThinkPad X220, but it did offer a bit of an improvement over the stock MacBook Air.
Where the NuShield DayVue really shines, err anti-shines, is on the super glossy displays found on most consumer notebooks. As you can see in our demo video above, even on an overcast day, the difference is noticeable. We’d go so far as to say that if you have a consumer glossy notebook you shouldn’t work outside without a NuShield DayVue screen protector.
Installation of the DayVue is easy, even on large screens and there is just enough play on the MacBook Air to allow for some forgiveness in installation. We didn’t have any issues with bubbles in our MacBook Air installation. When we quickly placed the protector on the Toshiba L Series we have in for review, so you may see a bubble or two, but those will go away pretty fast in our experience.
