Toshiba has announced a new line of USB 3.0 Hard drives, the Toshiba Canvio 3.0 External Hard Drive, that are available starting today from $119. These external USB 3.0 hard drives are part of the Canvio line of hard drives and come in 3 different sizes starting at 500GB.
The Toshiba Canvio 3.0 hard drives are capable of transferring data at 10 times the speed of USB 2.0 for faster transferring of large files and are backwards compatible with the USB 2.0 ports which are found in most notebooks. The Canvio 3.0 external hard drives are plug and play and ship with NTI BackupNow software for a customizable backup solution.
The hard drives are designed for portability with a pocket size shape that includes rubberized corners and a black finish that includes red, green, blue, white, or silver designs.
