ASUS Debuts 3 Gaming Notebooks at Computex

At Computex last week ASUS introduced three new gaming notebooks the ASUS G51 3D, ROG G53 and ASUS G73. ASUS hasn’t shared much about these notebooks, but Engadget was able to get some additional details about what’s powering these three gaming notebooks.

The ROG G53 gaming notebook comes with 15.6 inch display screen, full 3D gaming support and new HDMI 1.4 version. ROG G53 is also equipped with Nvidia’s 3D vision-enabled next generation CPU and will be the first 15″ gaming laptop to use the new GPU.

The ASUS G73 gaming notebook comes with a 17.3 inch display, F117 stealth bomber design, illuminated keyboard and Nvidia’s newest generation mobile GPU with 1080p and full 3D support.

According to Engadget these gaming notebooks will be available with Intel Core i3, Core i5 or Core i7 processor options, a LED backlit HD display and up to 16 GB of DDR3 memory on the quad core machines or up to 8 GB of DDR3 memory on the dual core machines. These notebooks will also be configurable with an optional Blu-ray drive, USB 3.0 ports and room for a pair of hard drives (SSD / HDD combo).
