The base model has a 2nd Gen Intel Core i7-2630QM CPU clocked at 2.0GHz, 6GB DDR3 RAM and a 1GB Radeon HD 6850M GDDR5 GPU. The Envy 17 3D has a 640GB hard drive, backlit keyboard, Bluetooth and a built in Blu-Ray player.The HP Envy 17 3D ships with a 1920×1080 Full HD 3D Display which is used with active 3D glasses. The notebook includes one pair of active 3D shutter glasses .
We were able to see the Envy 17 3D back at CES 2011 and were quite impressed with the 3D display during our hands on demo. The Envy 17 has the same design as the rest of the Envy line, and offers a stylish and sturdy gaming solution.
