Hands On with the Lenovo IdeaPad S100 Netbook (Video)

Today we had a chance to visit the Lenovo suite at CES 2011 in Las Vegas and get hands on time with the new Lenovo IdeaPad S100 netbook which start at $329 and replaces the Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3 netbook.

We were pretty impressed with the machine which looks and feels pretty nice with a textured palmrest and a nice blue display that is pretty eye catching without being “Ed Hardy” ostentatious.

In our brief time the keyboard seemed very responsive and pretty much in line witht eh rest of teh IdeaPad line. We did like that the keys are all where they should be, without any odd spacing or sizing that we noticed.

The unit we looked at had the extended life battery which does not sit flush, but the standard capacity one should provide a more compact experience.
