Today at CES 2011 Lenovo announced the IdeaPad S100 netbook, a new 10.1″ companion computer which runs on the Intel Atom processor and starts at $329.
The IdeaPad S100 netbook replaces the previous IdeaPas S10-3 netbook as the entry level netbook available from Lenovo.
As part of the model change the new IdeaPad S100 can be configured with up to a dual core Intel Atom N570 processor which will handle multimedia without the need for a Broadcom HD accelerator.
The S100 has a LED backlit display, 98% full size AccuType chiclet style keyboard and comes in an array of colors including red, fuchsia, sky blue and black.
The slim 10.1″ netbook weighs in at 2.2 pounds and includes a 2.0MP webcam for connecting on the go.
The Lenovo IdeaPad S100 will be available in March starting at $329.
