If you think the Mouse is dead and are sick of terrible touchpads on Windows notebooks then you’ll be happy to know that even though the Apple Magic Trackpad isn’t officially supported in Windows you can make it work. The fine folks at Digital Inspiration have figured out How to use the magic Trackpad in Windows with Gestures.
The process isn’t as simple as installing your ordinary mouse, but the guide is easy enough to follow and shouldn’t take you more than a few minutes to complete. After which, your Windows notebook will be able to pair up and work with the Apple Magic Trackpad in all it’s mousing and gesture based glory.
The Apple Magic Trackpad Windows patch is available in both a 32 bit and a 64 bit version and works with Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7.
