CES: MSI U160 and MSI U135 Small N450 Netbooks for 2010

MSIlogoAt a joint press conference today in Las Vegas MSI announced their new line of netbooks which are taking advantage of new technology from intel including the Intel Atom N450 processors which should offer better battery life and a performance boost over the N270 processor which had been ruling the netbook kingdom. Additionally both the U135 and the U160 also make use of the newer Intel NM10.

The MSI U160 has a nice looking brown cover and a trackpad that’s sure to let you know if you are on track or attempting to use the palmrest as a mousepad. For a closer look check out the MSI U160 hands on we got on the show floor.

MSI also announced updates to the MSI U135 netbook which has a chiclet style keyboard for a better typing experience and claims 9 hours of battery life. The U135 comes in 4 colors; blue, white, black and red and has an option to add WiMax to the netbook for fast mobile connectivity.
