iPhone 3Gs Guided Tour (video)

Apple has posted a guided tour of the newly introduced iPhone 3Gs.

The guided tour shows more information about new features in an easy-to-understand video.

The iPhone 3Gs will begin selling on June 19 in the United states for $199 (16GB) and $299 (32GB). The iPhone 3Gs will be rolled out to 80 countries by the end of summer.

The video starts off with an overview, then touches on the following subjects:

1) iPhone 3Gs camera, including touch-to-focus.

2) iPhone 3Gs video recording.

3) iPhone 3Gs video editing and sharing. Videos can be shared on Mobile Me and YouTube.

4) iPhone 3Gs Voice control for dialing names and numbers. Text to speech is included and appears to be powered by Nuance.

The iPhone 3Gs has voice control in the iPod app.

5) Digital Compass. The iPhone 3Gs has a digital compass, which makes maps and location based applications more useful

6) Cut, copy and Paste. All iPhones will get cut and paste with iPhone 3.0 software. Cut, copy and paste works between applications.

7) iPhones with iPhone 3.0 can now send photos (MMS). This feature won’t be coming to the U.S. until the end of summer

8) iPhone Voice Memos. You can now record voice memos

9) Spotlight Search. With the iPhone 3Gs you can search within mail and across other applications. This is extremely useful for business email users. Search also works for everything within the iPod.

10) The video goes over the App Store application and how to download new apps.
