By  |  1 Comment

The Dell Latitude E6320 business class laptop was also announced alongside the rest of the Dell Latitude E Family of laptops at an event in San Francisco. This is a 13.3″ laptop with an HD display in a light but full-performance computer.

The E6320 is designed to be a rugged system with a “hard wearing MIL-STD 810G tested Tri-Metal casing” and a anodized aluminum lid. The base is powder-coated with reinforced hinges. With a spill-resistant keyboard, this is advertised as a computer that can handle hard core environments. Vibration and dust are not going to be a problem, says Dell.

It sounds like they are aiming this at construction workers or outdoors types. The latch that closes the laptop will keep in closed and the bottom is designed to resist dings and scratches.
