Panasonic Toughbook Overview (video)

Kyp Walls, Panasonic’s director of product management, gave an overview of the Toughbook brand and products. I’ve seen ToughBooks at trade shows and in use before, but it was great getting the full rundown from an expert.

Panasonic’s Toughbooks are best known for pulling heavy duty in war zones, outdoors and other harsh environments. But if you’re not planning to go to war with your notebook you can still get protection from a semi-rugged or business rugged Toughbook.

The protection comes with a higher price tag than many business notebook buyers are used to, but Kyp says that many of their clients save money over the long haul since Toughbooks have a very low failure rate.
