Turn Excess Heat Into Power

A new technology could harness all that heat coming out of your notebook and convert it to electricity to power your computer. Eneco is developing a solid state energy conversion/generation chip that produces electricity when one side is heated, while the other is relatively cool. The technology is in early development, but Eneco is supposedly talking to Dell and Apple about possible mobile technology applications. Enecoâ€â„¢s technology could someday make notebooks run longer.
