Gateway Announces Core 2 Duo Lineup

 

Starting on Aug. 31, many Gateway notebook PC models will be available with Intel Core 2 Duo processors.
The Gateway M255-E, M285-E, M465-E and M685-E professional series notebooks will offer the Intel® Core(TM) 2 Duo T5600 (1.83GHz, 2MB L2 cache), T7200 (2.00GHz, 4MB L2 cache) and T7400 (2.16GHz, 4MB L2 cache) processors beginning on Aug. 31.
The Gateway NX260X, NX560, NX860X and CX210X consumer direct models also will offer these new processors.
Prices for Gateway notebooks with Intel Core 2 Duo will begin at $999.99.
