We all know that the iPhone can do just about anything we ask it to do, other than make a good cup of coffee (only because there isnt a good app and accessory yet *smirk*). But, how about making it run another operating system other than the iPhone OS?
Well, a hacker/developer named planetbeing, from the iPhone Dev Team, decided to do something new with an iPhone. He has successfully loaded a version of the Android OS over to a first generation iPhone. According to his blog, he has it working and may be able to port it over to iPhone types in the future. According to the video below, it is working ok with data, voice, and many apps working. But, like any port of an OS, there are some bugs and kinks to work out.
