Hackers are always one step ahead of companies when it comes to hacks and jailbreaking the iPhone is no different. Within 24 hours of the iPhone OS 4 beta hackers had managed to run un-authorized applications on the iPhone’s new mobile operating system.
A hacker from the iPhone development team has uploaded a video of an iPhone 3GS running hacked iPhone OS 4 beta. His video clearly shows that he is able to run un-authorized VNC client ‘Veency’ on the iPhone OS 4 beta.
The AppleInsider reports that Apple is planning to build a new hardware security features in its next-generation iPhone in an attempt to thwart jailbreaking attempts. Only time will tell how long Apple’s countermeasures can delay jailbreaking attempts.
This news comes on the heels of reported iPad jailbreaks.
