MacHeist Bundle Offers Great Deal on Cool Mac Apps

Mac users looking to score a deal on great Mac apps and games should skip the App Store and check out this month’s MacHeist Bundle.

The bundle includes 15 months of Evernote Premium, Scrivener 2, a document editor that focuses on long creations with lots of information to organize, and if enough users buy the bundle, BioShock 2.

All together buyers get fifteen apps worth a total of $539. Here are the apps included in this month’s MacHeist Bundle, available for $29. Some apps, like BioShock 2 are only available if enough people buy the bundle.

Bejeweled 3 $20

Bejeweled 3 is a matching game with multiple levels for casual gamers and distributed via Steam.

Scrivener 2 $45

Use Scrivener 2 to create long documents with this information organizing tool that includes a word processor and desktop publishing features. PDF Signer $10

The PDF Signer app lets users sign contracts or other important documents digitally, to avoid printing and scanning, as well as lets users edit PDF files.

Artboard $30

Jurassic Park $30

The game immerses the player in the world of the Jurassic Park book and movies. Check out their demo video below:

Users will download and install this game via Steam.

MacHeist describes Sam and Max as,

This utility that lets users schedule tasks like defragmentation, backing up files and fixing bad sectors all while inside OS X. There’s no need for starting up with a special tools DVD or flash drive. This tool alone makes the $29 fee for the bundle worth the cost.

Evernote $60

Evernote integrates with a ton of apps and services to help users collect and organize information. Use it to store notes, audio, images and other details. It’s like a filing cabinet on a computer, tablet and smart phone. The service also syncs with multiple installations of the Evernote client software or app. The premium version gives users more bandwidth and better OCR features for scanned documents. HDRtist $30

Take pictures and transform them into HDR images to keep all the color and exposure spectrum of a complex scene. HDRtist makes it easier than the more complicated photo editing tools used primarily by professionals.

Firetask $40

A task manager that does a little more than Apple’s new Reminders app. Firetask uses the popular Getting Things Done system of time management. The app isn’t unlocked. MacHeist requires 25,000 buyers before it makes this one part of the bundle.

BioShock 2 $25

This incredibly popular first person shooter takes place in “… the gorgeous setting of the ruined underwater city of rapture…” tasking the player with fighting genetically modified “Splicers.”

Like Firetask, BioSchock 2 requires that an unspecified number of buyers must buy the bundle before the game is available.

Corel Painter Lite $70

This app gives users a professional quality painting application. It offers many of the same features as the full version of Corel Painter. This app is locked until enough bundles are sold.
