The MediaSmart Server LX195 is HP's most affordable home server and is a lot more approachable than its larger line of home servers. The LX195 is designed to make it easy to backup all of your multimedia content and access it from anywhere.
HP introduced a new line of affordable notebooks aimed at value-concious business users. The HP ProBook series will come in three sizes and start at just $529. I got a chance to sit down with Sarah Bussell, HP's business notebook product manager to take a look at the ProBook lineup and shot a quick video.
HP's unveiled the Pavilion dv3t, a 13" notebook that starts at $799 before any discounts or incentives. The dv3t is built for mainstream consumers and can be customized to fit the needs of most students and home users. It can be configured with NVIDIA graphics, up to 8GB of RAM and a Blu-ray Disc drive.
The HP Pavilion dv2 is an ultraportable notebook that's affordable, but has enough graphics muscle that users can enjoy video games and play Blu-ray discs. After toning done the graphics setting, I played Call of Duty Word: World at War at over 30 frames per second and recorded the below video clips. 
AMD sent over an HP Pavilion dv2 for us to evaluate and I wanted to share some photos of it and my first thoughts. The HP Pavilion dv2 fits somewhere between a premium ultraportable and a netbook, sharing some characteristics of each.
HP's next MediaSmart Server software update will enable automatic video conversion and mobile streaming. This means users will be able to playback their movies from any device in full resolution on their home network or at HP is also releasing an iPhone application so MediaSmart EX485 and EX487 owners can access their entire photo, music and video libraries from anywhere.

The HP Pavilion dv2 aims to tackle the most common objections to netbooks by offering a bigger display, roomier keyboard, improved graphics and an external optical drive. The first Pavilion dv2 configuration costs $749.99, but we expect that price to drop in the coming months as rebates and other discounts begin to kick in.

The Mini 1000 is one of my favorite netbooks, but its standard 3-cell battery just isn't enough for a lot of people. The 6-cell battery doubles the time you can work on the Mini 1000 on a single charge.

I've been using the HP Mini 1000 Vivienne Tam Edition for the past month and generally have had a great experience. There have been some instances where I've needed to use the webcam and found it to be less than satisfactory.

HP's new Pavilion dv6t is a 16-inch entertainment notebook that's relatively affordable. Launched at CES 2009, the dv6t offers a bigger display than you'll find in the dv5 and adds a number pad. The dv6t is available now from $679.99.
