Apple announced that you can now buy high definition primetime shows form the four major TV networks for $2.99 per episode. The high definition shows can be viewed on your notebook or Apple TV. A standard definition version is included in the purchase price so you can watch them on your iPod or iPhone.

"Blue Label Laptops" at Best Buy

. Best Buy's kicked off its Blue Label Laptops program to offer premium consumer notebooks in-store and online. To qualify for the Blue Label Laptops program, models must be thin and light, be optimized for long battery life and have a 13.3-inch to 14.1-inch display. The first two Blue Label Laptops are the Toshiba Satellite E105 and the HP dv3510nr.

HP Increases Lead Over Dell, Acer, Lenovo in Global PC Sales

hplogo.jpegHewlett-Packard expanded its lead over rival Dell in the global PC market, according to iSuppli. HP shipped 13.1 million PCs, a 32.7 percent and 3.2 million unit increase from 9.9 million in the third quarter of 2006. This expansion allowed Hewlett-Packard to outgrow global PC unit shipment growth, which amounted to 13.8 percent in the third quarter of 2007 compared to the same period in 2006.
