I'm spending part of the day at AlwaysOn's Stanford Summit, a conference where startup execs and industry leaders discuss tech issues. SUS announced its F8 notebook series, manufactured with the company's Infusion technology a manufacturing process used to inlay the case's surfaces into the chassis. ASUS says this process will make the F8 more durable. Dell's running some videos on YouTube of frustrated Tablet PC 'users' destroying their non-Dell tablets. While the videos are somewhat ammusing, they'll probably turn some people off of the Tablet PC category. "If you had a Tablet PC that drove you crazy...what would you do with it?" Maybe punish it with a golf club or saw? Hopefully Dell's new tablets live up to the hype. 
Photoworks, a photo publishing company, is offering customized messenger-style notebook bags for students. Students can have their favorite photos printed on the side of the bags in one of three layouts. The Photoworks messenger bags can accomodate 14-inch notebooks and smaller. The bag itself doesn't look too robust and will set you back $119. 
HP's 20.1-inch Pavilion HDX entertainment notebook is finally available. The Pavilion HDX, also known as "The Dragon," features dual hard drives, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600 XT GPU, up to 4GB of memory and the latest Intel Core 2 Duo processors. This 15.5-pound semi-portable notebook starts at $2,999 
The One Laptop Per Child Foundation, the non-profit bringing mobile computers to developing nations, may begin selling the low-cost XO laptop to consumers by Christmas this year. The XO laptop may sell for as low as $35o, or twice its production. The program will act as a fund raiser so more students can receive their first computers.

Toshiba’s now shipping the Qosmio G45-AV680 multimedia notebook, the first notebook featuring an HD DVD-R drive. The HD DVD-R drive can burn up to 30GB of data onto a single disc. Users will be able to watch HD content at at full 1080p resolution. 
Dell customers are getting antsy as they wait for their XPS M1330 notebooks. Dell has started shipping some orders, but things are slow going as the company works through some new 'manufacturing processes.' 
Logitech introduced the VX Nano, its latest cordless mouse for notebooks. The VX Nano sports the smallest USB receiver in the world and a hyper-fast scroll wheel. The USB receiver sits nearly flush with the notebook's case, eliminating the need to plug and unplug it when moving from place to place. 
VoodooPC introduced the ENVY H:171 17-inch widescreen gaming notebook today. The ENVY H:171 is the first notebook to include the Intel Core 2 Extreme X6800 processor, Dual NVIDIA GeForce Go 7950 graphics processing unit up to 600GB in drive capacity.

Samsng is teaming up with Los Angeles International Airport to offer travelers launch free charging stations throughout all terminals. Hurried travelers will be able to charge their mobile phones, laptops and other personal electronics before hoping on their flights.
