AlwaysOn Notebooks I'm spending part of the day at AlwaysOn's Stanford Summit, a conference where startup execs and industry leaders discuss tech issues. ASUS says this process will make the F8 more durable. This 14.1-inch widescreen notebook features a built-in TV tuner, Intel Core 2 Duo processors and either the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600 (512MB VRAM) or NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS graphics (256MB VRAM) GPU.

Dell Tablets Dell's running some videos on YouTube of frustrated Tablet PC 'users' destroying their non-Dell tablets. While the videos are somewhat ammusing, they'll probably turn some people off of the Tablet PC category. "If you had a Tablet PC that drove you crazy...what would you do with it?" Maybe punish it with a golf club or saw? Hopefully Dell's new tablets live up to the hype.

HP HDX HP's 20.1-inch Pavilion HDX entertainment notebook is finally available. The Pavilion HDX, also known as "The Dragon," features dual hard drives, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600 XT GPU, up to 4GB of memory and the latest Intel Core 2 Duo processors. This 15.5-pound semi-portable notebook starts at $2,999, but extra goodies like a HD DVD drive and Intel's Core 2 Duo Extreme processor can push the price tag to the $5,000 range.

The XO laptop may sell for as low as $35o, or twice its production. The program will act as a fund raiser so more students can receive their first computers.
