Best Buy is promoting its early-bird Thanksgiving sale online, in print and on TV, touting Black Friday pricing before the holiday shopping season officially kicks off.
I went to BestBuy.com to check out the deal and was disappointed to see that there aren’t any discounts on computers. Instead, the computer retailer is offering free shipping on netbooks and all-in-one PCs.
If you’re looking for big savings on a PC this holiday season it looks like you’re better off waiting for Black Friday, when Best Buy and others will be offering significant discounts on laptops.
Free shipping is pretty much the norm when buying computers online these days and it’s kinda sad to see Best Buy highlighting it as a part of a “Special Sale.”
Digging a little deeper into Best Buy’s site shows that the HP G60-549DX on sale for $429.99 after a $170 discount. You can also save $40 to $60 on select printers with the purchase of qualifying note
