Intel showed off a concept computer called the Metro Notebook at the Intel Developers Forum. The slim notebook is designed to be carried over your shoulder so you can easily access the secondary e-ink display. The display is always on, even when the notebook is powered down, so users can can check their calendars or read emails without having to boot up. The notebook would also charge mobile phone and PDA batteries by just placing them on the notebook’s lid.
