Samsung 9 Series Thin and Light Hands-On at CES 2011 (Video)
The Samsung 9 Series notebook is an ultraportable laptop that will compete with the MacBook Air. In fact, Samsung is saying it is stronger, lighter, and offers longer battery life than the Air challenger. Supporting an Intel second-generation Core processor in the Sandy Bridge family, the 9 Series will have the latest processor and will be available in either an 11.6-inch configuration or 13.3-inch configuration, though Samsung reps say that only the latter 13.3-inch size will make it the U.S. market leaving the 11.6-inch Air unchallenged. We shot a hands-on video of the device so you can see it as we saw it at CES:
The 9 Series also won Notebook.com’s award for Best Premium Thin and Light Notebook at CES 2011.
