After years and years of preaching a no-retail mantra, Dell's partnered with Wal-Mart-the world's biggest retailer. In the coming days, more than 580 Sam's Club locations will start carrying an AMD-powered Dell E1501 notebook for $899. 
Dell's designs are definitely getting more daring, though some of the details on the new Dell XPS m1330 are eerily similar to Sony's. The XPS m1330 features a 13.3-inch LED display (optional), Core 2 Duo processor and a choice between a 32GB SSD or 250 GB hard drive. Linux fans will be able to order an Inspiron 1505 with Ubuntu later this week, according to an internal memo from a Dell employee.
