T-Mobile will start selling unlocked iPhones for nearly $1,500 in Germany after a court spat with rival Vodaphone. T-Moblile is the exclusive iPhone reseller in Germany, and sells it for 399 euros with a two-year contract.

Our friends over at UMPC Portal took a close look at the compact Packard Bell Easynote XS, a tiny notebook that's going to rival the ASUS Eee PC when it comes to the U.S. The Easynote will be marketed under the Everex label when it comes stateside. 
American Express is getting ready to kick off it's 'My Wishlist' holday promotion and will sell the Dell XPS M1330 notebook for $900. The American Express 'My Wishlist' is an annual promo that lets AMEX cardholders 'buy' a very limited number of items for 25% to 100% off. 
Circuit City will sell the Garmin StreetPilot c340 GPS unit for just $99 on Black Friday. The Garmin c340 is being sold for $200 off its normal price. 
There aren't any significant discounts on MacBooks or MacBook Pros for Black Friday, but there's a killer deal at Fry's Electronics on the 20-inch iMac. 
Cheap notebooks are wildly popular, all you have to do is look at the stir Black Friday notebooks and the OLPO XO Laptop. The ASUS Eee PC is just making its way off the assembly line and Asustek's CEO is already predicting that his company will out-pace its goal of selling 3.8 million of the $400-ish laptops by the end of next year.

The Toshiba A135-S7403 is the cheapest notebook advertised for Black Friday so far. Best Buy's selling the Toshiba A135-S7403 for just $229 and throwing in a free printer. 
Some high-end notebooks will soon be available with its highest performing mobile GPUs- the 880M GTX and 8800M GTS. NVIDIA claims the 8800M GTX is the fastest notebook GPU and can deliver the best gaming experience for hardcore gamers. 
Alienware is getting ready to launch the Area-51 m15x and Area-51 m17x gaming notebooks. The Area-51 m17x is the most advance Alienware has built so far, according to the company. It can easily handle the latest DirectX 10 games in full 1080p high-def glory. Amazon officially announced the Kindle, a wireless reading device that's doomed to fail. The Kindle brings several innovations to the e-book reader table, but there are too many flaws for it to succeed in its current state.
