Iomega Releases Mac Compatible eGo Portable Hard Drives

Iomega's introduced a mac-compatible version of its new eGo portable hard drives. The new hard drives are much more rugged than standard portable hard drives. They can withstand drops of up 51 inches. These drives feature one Firewire 400, Firewire 800 and USB 2.0 ports.

Toshiba mini NB 205 Netbook Introduced

Windows 7 Launch Date Set: October 22, 2009

Microsoft's confirmed the launch date of Windows 7. Retailers will begin selling copies of the new operating systems on October 22. The company also confirmed that it will offer free or discounted copies of Windows 7 to customers who purchase notebooks with Windows Vista, but details haven't been announced.
