Microsoft is giving small businesses a free and easy way to establish an online presence with Office Live. The basic version of Office Live includes a free web site, domain name, site designer and 25 email accounts.
The free version Microsoft Office Live has a very simple online web site design tool. With a few clicks you can customize your site’s pages, theme, colors, pictures and text. Within a few minutes you can start establishing your online identity, complete with your own domain.
The free Office Live suite includes tools to upload documents and contacts so you always have access to them wherever you are. There’s a tool that syncs your info with Outlook to simplify things.
Microsoft also includes a free copy of Office Accounting Express to Office Live subscribers.
If your business outgrows Office Live Basic, you can upgrade to Office Live Essentials or Office Live Premium for $19.95 or $39.95 per month. The first three months of Office Live Essentials and Premium is free.
The paid versions of Office Live include Business Contact Manager to help manage relationships. The Office Live Premium suite includes online applications for managing company information, expense reports, employees and projects.
