HP's next MediaSmart Server software update will enable automatic video conversion and mobile streaming. This means users will be able to playback their movies from any device in full resolution on their home network or at HP is also releasing an iPhone application so MediaSmart EX485 and EX487 owners can access their entire photo, music and video libraries from anywhere.

I've previously called the Asus 1000HE netbook one of the best values in the netbook market in terms of bang per buck but I had to try it out myself to see if it actually lives up to my expectations. AT&T announced that it is selling subsidized netbooks for between $49.99 and $349.99 with the purchase of a two-year mobile broadband contract.
