SanDisk introduced a 64GB Solid State Drive today at Computex. SanDisk 1.8-inch UATA 5000 and 2.5-inch SATA 5000 SSD products have been available in 32GB versions for several months. 
Intel will start selling a mobile version of the Core 2 Extreme processor for high-end gaming notebooks sometime during the third quarter of this year. Intel's Sean Maloney announced the new chip at Computex in Taipei.

Toshiba’s announced the Tecra M8, the company's first 13.3-inch notebook. The compact widescreen display offers 30% more viewing area than 12.1-inch normal aspect notebooks, while maintaining a compact form factor. The first configuration of the Tecra M8 will be the M8-S8011. 
Apple updated its MacBook Pro line of notebooks today with a LED-backlit display for the 15-inch version and a hi-res 1920x1200 option for the 17-inch model. The new MacBook Pros are now available with the latest Intel Core 2 Duo processors, NVIDIA GeForce 8600m GT graphics card.

Fujitsu's upgraded is Lifebook tablets with Intel's Santa Rosa mobile platform. A touch over four pounds, the Fujitsu T4220 tablet's exterior looks identical to previous models, but boasts many upgrades. The T4220 packs the latest Core 2 Duo processors, 802.11n wireless and up to 120GB of storage.

Apple CEO Steve Jobs and WSJ's Walt Mossberg chatted about the upcoming iPhone launch, Apple's computers and iTunes Plus today. Jobs says the iPhone is "Internet in your pocket for the first time." He points to iTune's many successes, including more than 300 million installs of the music application.
