Best Buy is discounting select notebooks by $100 to $200. The cheapest notebook available is the Everex StepNote NC1501 for $399. The Everex StepNote NC1501 comes with 512MB of RAM, 60GB drive, double layer DVD burner and Vista home basic. There are several HP, Sony and Toshiba notebooks on sale.
