Samsung's announced it will enter the U.S. notebook market with a full line of notebooks including a lightweight netbook, a 16-inch entertainment notebook and just about every size in between the two. Until now, Samsung's sold notebooks overseas, but only sold the Q1 UMPC stateside.

I caught up with Ravi Sood, of HP's gaming division. Ravi's brother founded VooDooPC in 1991 to make performance PCs and sold the company in late 2006 to HP.
