Best Buy is offering the HP G62-435DX notebook for sale this week at $449. The HP G62 is part of the newly refreshed HP G Series line of notebooks which is designed to deliver a capable, yet affordable user experience to students and home users.

The HP G62-435DX comes with the 2.40GHz AMD Athlon II Dual core processor, 4GB DDR3 RAM, a 320GB hard drive and an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 GPU. The HP G62 comes with a webcam, wireless connectivity and HDMI connectivity as well as a dual layer DVD RW drive. The 15.6″ display has a 1366×768 resolution. The HP G62’s battery will likely last a little over 3 hours during normal use.
