On Black Friday Office Max will be selling the Acer Aspire AS5742-7120 15.6″ Intel Core i3 notebook for just $529, a discount of $100 off the retail price.. This isn’t as good as the Black Friday deal on the Acer ASPIRE AS5742-7653 which has a faster Core i5 processor for $499, but it is still a good find.
The Acer Aspire AS5742-7120 comes with the latest Intel processor technology, a 2.4GHz Intel Core i3-370M CPU, 4GB of RAM and a 320GB hard drive. The Acer Aspire AS5742-7120 has a 15.6″ display offering a 1366 x 768 resolution and includes a 1.3MP webcam.
This notebook is a good find for the home user who wants to do more than just surf the web and work on office documents. You’ll have enough horsepower to edit photos and work on small video projects. You will also notice that the computer is much snappier than the $399 Black Friday laptops when it comes to running multiple programs at once. This computer is not much more expensive than the dual core Black Friday Laptop deals we are seeing from Office Depot, Walmart and Best Buy, but offers way more performance for your dollar.
