KeyCase Folio Deluxe for iPad Bluetooth Keyboard Reviewed by Engadget

The unique case for the iPad that doubles as a stand and an integrated Bluetooth keyboard has now been reviewed. The AIDACASE KeyCase Folio Deluxe for iPad Bluetooth Keyboard was reviewed by Nilay Patel of Engadget who called the case a, mixed bag”, because while it is a nice idea, the keyboard is just inadequate.

The case has a pleather exterior with a magnetic latch to hold it closed. When resting in the upright position, the case loosely fits in the groove that holds it up. And if you had dreams of typing on your lap, Patel says it is just not going to happen; it will bounce off your lap or fall closed. Another issue noted was that when you open the case to use the iPad, the keyboard will always be exposed which makes holding the iPad and using it awkward.

Here is Engadget’s video review of the AIDACASE KeyCase Folio Deluxe for iPad Bluetooth Keyboard:

Their conclusion was that this is only worth the $100 if you are desperate for a case like this. Otherwise wait till there are other options.
