Notebooks.com Week in Review September 10th

Compared the all of the releases and announcements last week, the past 7 days have been as slow as a Sunday drive in the country, but that doesn’t mean we don’t have some interesting news to fill in your Friday afternoon.

If you’re looking for accessory reviews we have two that will interest you. First off is a review of the Lapworks iPad Space Dock, which Kevin Purcell found to be, “a great value and really useful accessory”, even if it is a little pricey. We also had a look at the revolutionary SwiftPoint Mouse that is meant to be held like a pen and used on the palmrest of your laptop. While it took some getting used to it was more enjoyable than the touchpad; still we hope to see gestures or some command customizations in version 2.0 or a Firmware update.
