Motorola Droid X Makes Appearance on Verizon’s Website, Coming Soon

The rumored sequel to the Droid and the Droid Incredible, the Motorola Droid X, has been the subject of a lot of hype lately. Though Apple’s iPhone 4 has clearly stolen the limelight in smartphone coverage lately, rumors of Droid X specs have been surfacing all over the place. The Droid X has finally made an appearance on Verizon Wireless’s website.

Though this update doesn’t really come with much news, at least it confirms that the official name will be the Droid X and that it will have HDMI out, a 4.3-inch display, and 720p video capture. Some other rumored specs of the Droid X are an 8-megapixel camera with LED flash, 9 separate home screens, and a dedicated camera button.
