HP Pavilion DM1z: Hands on with the AMD Powered Ultrathin

The HP Pavilion DM1z, which is part of the new AMD VISION line of ultrathin notebooks made an appearance at an event in Cannes and nDevil was there to get a hands on with the new notebook. The DMz1 is powered by a 1.7GHz AMD Athlon II Neo K125 single core processor and has an 11.6″ display.

I really like the small form factor of these ultrathin devices and the prospect of doing more than a netbook can typically do. I can’t wait to see more of these 11-13″ machines come to market – especially if they can deliver long battery life!
