Dell Latitude 2110 Netbook: Business Netbook Gains 3G and Atom N470, Keeps Touchscreen

The new Dell Latitude 2110 netbook is an update to the Latitude 2100 netbook which was well received in education and business settings. This update keeps the network activity light, which quickly lets a teacher know if a student is online or working on classwork, and th rubburazied durable case but adds a faster Atom N470 processor and the option for 3G mobile connectivity which will be appreciated by business users.

The Dell Latitude 2110 can fit into either an educational or business setting with configuratiosn to fit the needs of each setting. In an education situation, the activity light and easy on cart management make deployment to classrooms a breeze and business users will appreciate the durable nature of the netbook as well as the increased screen resolution, 1366 x 768, with the optional TrueLife Display. The Latitude 2110 retains the anti-glare touchscreen option of its predecessor which also proved popular in the education market.

The Latitude 2110 is available with Windows OS choices as well as an Ubuntu Linux version; comes with a 3 or 6 cell battery and supports Citrix and VMWare remote connections. The Latitude 2110 also has an optional HD accelerator for enhanced multimedia playback, battery life of up to 10 hours, an optional Webcam/Mic and WiMax options. This netbook is available in black, blue and red.

The Dell Latitude 2110 Netbook will be available in June starting at $419 with Windows and $389 with Linux.
