Toe Mouse Keeps Hands Free for Typing

Sometime you see an accessory and think. I have to have this. You may laugh, but that’s the first thing I thought of when I saw the Toe Mouse. This Mouse is designed to help people with upper-limb disabilities get around their computer — but I seriously want one in my office.

The Toe Mouse slips on much like a sandal or flip flop and lets you left click with your big toe and right click with your index (pointer?) toe.

Now, this sleek looking mouse doesn’t have nearly as many buttons as the Logitech Performance Mouse MX that I just bought, but if you added the gestures of the Eclipse TouchMouse, it would be a killer mouse.

The device isn’t currently available, but I have to hope that someone can bring it to market soon. Perhaps they can subsidize the cost of producing it for disabled individuals by marketing it as a productivity enhancer for office workers.

What do you think, am I crazy or is this awesome?
