Staples will start selling Dell notebooks online and in its 1,400 stores in time for the holidays. The Dell Inspiron 1521 and Inspiron 1721 will be the first to hit Staple’s shelves. Staples will also sell Dell desktops, printers and monitors starting November.
Dell is doing everything it can to regain marketshare from HP, which has a well-established retail presence. The Inspiron 1521 and 1721 are both AMD powered machines. This latest announcement means Dell notebooks are now available in 10,000 retail locations, including Sam’s Club.
