Gateway P6301 and P6822 Notebooks the Holidays

P-Series GatewayGateway’s introduced two new notebooks in time for the holidays. The P-6301 and P-6822 are moderately priced 17-inch notebooks for home users.

“Gateway’s holiday line-up is built to last and tackle the gamut of applications available today and tomorrow,” said John Schindler,
Gateway senior director of consumer products. “Notebooks with large widescreens offer power and mobility in a striking design. Engineered
for bringing games and digital entertainment to life, our latest desktop PCs are outfitted with the advanced technology today’s users
crave.”

Both of the new notebooks come with 1GB of memory, DVD burner, Windows Vista Home Premium and integrated graphics. The 17-inch screen’s resolution comes in at 1440×900 pixels.

The P-6301 notebook will sell for $799 and comes with a 160GB hard drive and Intel Dual Core processor (T2310, 1.46GHz). The P-6822 will cost $949 and comes with a faster Core 2 Duo processor, 250GB hard drive and HDMI output.

The P-Series notebooks will hit store shelves on October 14th.
