Toshiba Announces Free Recycling Program

Toshiba announced it is expanding its recycling efforts and has joined the Green Electronics Councilâ€â„¢s Electronic Product by registering select notebook models with EPEAT, including the Tecra M8 and Tecra M5.To keep computers out of dumpsters and landfills, Toshiba offers to recycle its notebook computers for free with no obligation by the consumer to purchase a new Toshiba computer. Non-Toshiba notebook computers will be recycled for a small shipping fee.

In this spirit, our notebook computer business is taking certain actions to help protect the environment.â€ÂÃƒâ€šÃ‚

Toshiba’s Trade-in and Recycle Program will pay you for used gadgets and notebooks that are still working. The trade-in values aren’t that high, but at least you know your dead gadgets won’t harm the environment.
