This notebook will keep up with the needs of most home users for several years and thanks to the specs, you won’t spend all that time waiting for programs to launch.

Runner Up:

A close runner up for those looking for a larger screen is the HP G72-B66US from Staples which brings a 17.3″ screen an Intel Core i3 processor to the mix for $499. If you can’t snag the Acer from Office Max, Best Buy also has a 15.6″ Black Friday laptop deal on the HP Pavilion DV6-3127dx which comes with an Intel Core i3 processor and is just $499.

In every category there’s a best and a worst. In the case of laptops under $500 the Toshiba Satellite C655D-S5088 is the worst deal for Black Friday 2010 because it doesn’t offer much more than similar models available under $400.

When it comes to Black Friday, there are always crazy cheap laptops, and Black Friday 2010 is no different. This year we are seeing netbooks under $100 and even laptops under $200. While we still think you’ll get a better value for your money bumping up to a dual core notebook for around $329, we recognize that many users are looking for the cheapest laptop they can find. In that spirit we rounded up the Black Friday netbooks and laptops under $250 and chose the best.

Of all these Black Friday Laptop Deals, the best Black Friday Laptop as chosen by Notebooks.com is the Compaq CQ10-405DX from Best Buy.

We chose the Compaq CQ10-405DX as the best Black Friday Netbook under $250 because it offers a relatively modern Intel Atom processor, 1GB of RAM and a full complement of netbook ports for $149, which is the cheapest actual netbook we have seen on Black Friday. It may not have the chops for handling all types of web video like you would find on a newer netbook with a dual core processor or a Broadcom HD accelerator, but it will be perfect as a secondary computer for most users and as a primary machine for users who only need it for email, web surfing and editing office documents.

This even beats out the $198 eMachines eMEs28-2325 Black Friday laptop from Walmart which doesn’t offer much more power. If you really want a bigger screen and netbook performance you can try for the $198 Walmart laptop, but you’ll be better off picking up a dual core laptop that can handle the needs of most modern computer users better.

At the other end of the spectrum, the 7″ Sylvania Netbook from CVS is the worst deal we have seen for many reasons, but mostly because it is not really a netbook in terms of what consumers are looking for. Spend the extra $50 to get the Compaq from Best Buy and you will have an immeasurably better experience!

The HP G72 Sam’s Club will be discounting on Black Friday is not yet available on the retailer’s Web site. There is a similar model, with lower specifications that costs $599, which means the Black Friday model will be more than $100 off its MSRP.

The Black Friday version of the G72 comes with 4GB of Memory, a 500GB hard drive and Intel Dual-core processor. We’re not sure which exact processor will be included in the Black Friday version, but it will likely be a Pentium class processor, which is not as efficient or as powerful as Intel’s current Core i-series processors. The HP 72 will come with a Blu-ray Disc drive, which means you’ll be able to enjoy your Blu-ray collection on both your PC and your HDTV, thanks to an included HDMI connector.

The HP G72 is a relatively low-end 17-inch notebook. You will get a serviceable PC, but there aren’t a lot of frills here. The entire body is made of plastic and it’s simply not as high quality as HP’s Pavilion notebooks. However, if you’re on a budget and have relatively basic needs the G72 is a decent value.

The biggest draw of this laptop is its large display and the Blu-ray disc player. If you don’t need or want the Blu-ray disc player you should skip this deal and get one of the other Black Friday HP G72 specials, which start at $399.

Another thing to consider is the sheer size of the G72. It’ll be just fine if you plan on using it on a desk or table most of the time. But it is much too large to take to school or work on a regular basis. Some users will find it too cumbersome to use on their laps for extended periods of time.

Sam’s Club will be open from 5am to 10am on Black Friday for members only. Sam’s Club will be offering complimentary food and coffee to those willing to brave the cold on Black Friday. To encourage new members, Sam’s Club will be offering a $25 gift card to those who sign the paperwork on Black Friday.

The 16GB Wi-Fi iPad will cost just $488 at Sam’s Club, an $11 discount from its $499 MSRP. The 16GB iPad with 3G will cost $609, a $20 discount from its MSRP. The $11 (Wi-Fi only) and $20 (3G) discounts will also be available on the higher-capacity iPads.

While these discounts are slight, the prices are better than what you’ll find at Apple retail stores.

The Wi-Fi will come from AT&T and the primary purpose is to give customers a way to sample the web on computers, Internet enabled HDTVs and other electronic devices. These tools will allow users to experience Pandora and the many other apps that are coming to connected entertainment devices.

To go with the free Wi-Fi, the company will push HD signals to their TVs on display giving customers a better sample of what the display will look like with HD content.

Sam’s will also offer a smartphone app for iPhone, Blackberry and Android devices starting in September. The app will show customers eValues” which are special discounts for members who pay for a Plus account. Other things included will be customer reviews of products and product information.

Additionally, Sam’s Club will offer a phone service for buyers to get more technical information about products. The Tech Experts 24/7 service will be available via a toll-free number (877-758-4346) offering advanced information for buyers both before and after the buying decision. Along with this, in-store personnel will get significantly more, and much-needed, training about the technology products sold Sam’s Club stores.

This notebook is worth looking at if you will be using it mostly at home. It is too large to carry around comfortably. The HP G71 comes with an HDMI port so you can enjoy your photos and videos on your HDTV.

At this point of time Sam’s Club hasn’t declared the full configuration of the G71 notebook that will be sold on Black Friday. But we are expecting this notebook to come with the following configuration. Please note that this is what we are expecting in configuration but it’s not 100% fixed and it might vary with actual configuration.
