The 11.6” MacBook Air is normally $999 with the Intel Core 2 Duo processor running at 1.4GHz and a 64GB SSD storage drive. It has NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphichs and the resolution is 1366×768, which is not bad for a display this size.

This model is also on sale at Amazon today for just a couple dollars less. If you are an Amazon Prime customer, you can get free 2-day shipping and save a little more while getting the computer faster. Overnighting the MacBook Air will cost you just $3.99 if you’re an Amazon Prime member. There’s even a chance you can get it by Saturday (tomorrow) as the company sometimes delivers overnight shipments on the weekend

11.6” MacBook Air for 1149.99

This is the same as the above MacBook Air but with the larger 128GB SSD storage. This MacBook Air is also not on sale at Apple today. However, Amazon’s deal is $10 better at $1139.

13.3” MacBook Air for $1249.99

The MacBook Air is Apple’s newest notebook, refreshed this fall. They are grabbing attention. MicroCenter’s discount is not as big as Apple’s. The have this same model on sale today for $1198, a savings of $101.

The 13.3” MacBook Air has 128GB of SSD storage and 2GB of RAM. It is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo processor running at 1.86GHz. The 13.3” screen has a resolution of 1440×900 with NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics processor sharing 256MB of RAM.

13.3” MacBook Air for $1549.99

The only difference between this an the above model is the storage. Instead of just 128 GB of storage, this model as the largest capacity drive Apple offers at 256GB. But like the above deal, Apple has a better discount today.

How To Download and Run Steam Games

Steam is a unique service. Users download Steam’s computer application which runs in the background, keeping track of users’ games library and informing you of deals. To get started simply install the Steam program. That is the link for the PC version. There is also one for Mac. After the download is installed, set up an account and then browse through the titles. Once you make your purchase it will show up in your Steam library and it can then be downloaded and installed. You can run Steam on any number of computers, but you can only log into one at a time.

iPod Nanos with 8GB of storage are going to sell for $138, an $11 savings while the 8GB iPod Touch is discounted to $208, which is $21 off.

There are also a slew of accessories. Including the iPad case, camera connection kit, wireless keyboard and dock all for $5 their regular prices. Also they they have headphones with the mic and remote built-in for $5 off. The Apple iPad Keyboard Dock is $11 off making it $58.

For the Mac, they have the Magic Mouse and Trackpad each with $5 off. There are big discounts on both the 1TB and 2TB Time Capsules as well as the AirPort Express and Extreme Base Stations.

The iPad comes in two flavors with three different storage sizes in each. This model is the regularly priced $499 16GB iPad with Wi-Fi only for networking. It has a bright 10″ display with a resolution of 1024×768 and weighs just 1.5 pounds. The thing that makes the iPad most useful are the apps and the battery life. There are literally tens of thousands of apps with everything from productivity apps to games, apps for watching TV and movies, and more. The great battery life means you can use the iPad for up to ten hours.

We’ve had a lot of experience using the iPad on our team. In our review when it first was released we called it a functional device, but not magical. Now, nearly 9 months later that would still be our view. It is a great tool for some. We recently had a series of articles with many of our team members sharing how they have been using their iPads, or in a few canses not really been using them.

Black Friday Deal: Apple iPad 16GB $41 Off is a post by Kevin Purcell from Notebooks.com.

The model being discounted is latest generation 8GB model recently released in September. It brought a number of new features that make this a big upgrade, including a front and rear facing camera so that users can take pictures, video and make FaceTime calls with friends using Wi-Fi and their email address as an identifier. In fact with the new features, the iPod Touch is potentially a good replacement for an iPhone so long as you have frequent access to a Wi-Fi network. We wrote a How To outlining some of the strategies for doing so.

The display uses the new higher resolution display that was introduced with the iPhone 4. And it is actually thinner.

Before you jump on this deal, realize that an 8GB iPhone will mean the user will have to make some compromises regarding what to load on the device. Music and Video fill up 8GB quickly. And while apps are not that large in general, if this is being purchased for a serious iPod Touch gamer, those tend to be larger than ordinary apps. Add pictures and videos, and this little device can get cramped.

The MacBook Air is not perfect. The limitations of storage and lack of an optical drive will be a hindrance for some. However, the excellent battery life makes the MacBook Air the perfect travel companion.
