Get a MacBook Pro for $1,399 from MacMall
MacMall is having a closeout on MacBook Pros, with prices as low as $1,399. You won’t get the latest version of the MacBook Pro at that price, but it’s a viable option if you’re on a budget.
Lenovo Olympic Ads…What Were They ‘Think’ing?
I’m watching the Olympic opening ceremonies right now and the production is absolutely amazing. Between performances there are some pretty entertaining and creative ads, full of Olympic spirit. Unfortunately, stuffed somewhere in there is Lenovo’s amazingly lame “sumo” ad.

Notebooks.com first took a look at the ModBook, the first MacBook Tablet at MacWorld 2006. Veronica of Maholo Daily caught up with the CEO of Axiotron, the company behind the ModBook and some artistic-types who are already using the ModBook professionally.

Cancelled my MacBook Air Order…
I wrote about ordering a MacBook Air after some encouragement from my wife. A few days ago I canceled the online order and while I’ll miss being one of the first to have the world’s thinnest notebook, I know this is the right decision.

Andreas Haas, the CEO of Axiotron and inventor of the ModBook, showed Notebooks.com the latest version of the Modbook, which has a mirror finish and a new application called Axiotron Quick Clicks, which makes it easier to enter commonly used key combos.
Notebooks in da BlogHaus!
Last night I headed over to the BlogHaus (a suite at the Bellagio hotel that’s set up with everything a blogger could possibly need to blog to the wee hours of the morning) and snapped this picture of a bunch of bloggers unanimously working on MacBooks and MacBook Pros.
