ThinkPad X200 Review
Lenovo officially introduced the ThinkPad X200 today, but was kind enough to send me an early review unit last week. The X200 is Lenovo’s new 12-inch business notebook and it’s been a joy to use for the past few days. The X200 has a starting price of just $1,199, making it an excellent value for anyone who needs a fully-capable notebook that can get them through a full work day.
X300 vs. MacBook Air (video)
The MacBook Air designers had to sacrifice a lot of ports and an optical drive so Apple could claim the title of ‘world’s thinnest notebook.’ Lenovo pokes some fun at the MacBook Air in this video and shows that an X300, the thinnest ThinkPad, can fit inside a manila envelope too.
IdeaPad U110 Now Available (video)
Lenovo’s IdeaPad U110 is finally available on Lenovo’s Web site and via retailers. The u110 is a very stylish 11.1-inch notebook, and the first compact notebook Lenovo’s marketing to consumers.
Lenovo Mobile Internet Device (video)
Here’s a video of a yet to be announced Lenovo mobile Internet device. The device looks pretty sleek and is another example of how Lenovo’s shifting some of its focus to the consumer marketplace. The company introduced the IdeaBook line for consumers this week and may announce this MID at CES 2008.
Lenovo L3000 Y410 Now Available in U.S.
Lenovo’s going after U.S. consumers for the first time with the Lenovo Y410, a 14.1-inch widescreen notebook that’s available through retailers like Office Depot and Staples. The Y410 starts at $699 and includeds Veriface (facial recognition security), Dolby Home Theater sound, an integrated sub-woofer and a media shuffle key.
Rugged Lenovo Notebook
Matt Kohut from Lenovo shot some pictures of a ruggedized Lenovo notebook that’s only available in China. The rugged Lenovo notebook is designed to stand up to the elements and can operate under extreme conditions, but they don’t look as polished as Panasonic’s Toughbooks.
ThinkPad Celebrates 15th Anniversary
Today marks the 15th anniversary of the ThinkPad notebook. More than 30 million ThinkPads have been sold in 160 countries since 1992, and becoming the notebook of choice for some of the biggest companies in the world.

Lenovo’s new ThinkPads feature dual roll-cages for added protection from drops and falls. This video shows how a ThinkPad R61 stands up to a motorcycle being driven over it.
Lenovo 3000 V200 Notebooks
enovo’s 12.1-inch 3000 V200 notebooks with Intel’s Santa Rosa technology are now available. Based on Intel’s Santa Rosa platform, the V200 starts at $1,199 with an Intel Core 2 Duo T7100 1.8GHz processor, dual-layer DVD burner, 1GB of memory and 160GB hard drive.
ThinkPad X61 Notebook and Tablet Refresh
Lenovo’s getting ready to give the X60 notebook and X60 tablet some Santa Rosa love. According to some internal docs, the new X61 models will run on Intel Core 2 Duo processors, Intel GMA X3100 graphics and have draft 802.11n wireless connectivity.
