Lenovo IdeaPad 330S: Power & Portability Under $500

The new for 2018 Lenovo IdeaPad 330S notebooks offer a striking mix of portability and style in a notebook that starts under $500.

Lenovo announced a collection of new IdeaPads in May 2018, including the entry level IdeaPad 330 that starts at $249 with Windows 10. Users who need a more portable notebook will want to explore the IdeaPad 330S.

This new model is 3.5 pounds, about a pound lighter than the IdeaPad 330, and it includes a polished aluminum cover instead of the plastic found on the entry level IdeaPad.

This all new IdeaPad is available in 14-inch and 15-inch screen sizes and most of the bezels on the IdeaPad 330S are super thin. The bottom bezel is a little larger, but overall this helps keep the size of the notebook in check. Users can choose an upgraded IPS display that is brighter with better colors and viewing angles.

The IdeaPad 330S color options include Platinum Grey, Midnight Blue, Rose Pink, Blizzard White and Iron Grey. Colors will vary based on screen size and retailer.

Users can choose up to an 8th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and equip it with up to the NVIDIA GeForce GTX1050 graphics card. Lenovo includes a backlit keyboard on the IdeaPad 330S and 2-watt speakers with Dolby Audio.

The IdeaPad 330S is available starting in May from Lenovo and other retailers.
